Linlithgow Palace

Located on the shores of the lake and surrounded by a charming park, Linlithgow Palace was one of the favourite residences of the kings and queens of Scotland during the 15th and 16th centuries. Mary Stuart was born in this palace in 1542, and although it is now in ruins, its walls convey the grandeur of its past.
